SMASHING TIMES® hosts parties for boys and girls of all ages. We host parties for birthday boys and girls, scouts, brownies, graduates, and more.

When the children arrive at the scheduled party time he/she will choose 5 to 6 projects to offer the party guests. These projects include, but are not limited to:

  • picture frames
  • boxes
  • bowls
  • plates
  • flowerpots
  • candles
  • votives
  • pencil holders

As the other children arrive, they will be asked to put their name on a bag and decorate it using crayons. When everyone has arrived, the kids are given a thorough and interactive explanation of mosaics (what is a mosaic, what kind of mosaic materials do we use, all about adhesive and grout, etc.)


Then each child covers their chosen project with broken glass, ceramic tile and/or plastic tile.

Children who finish early get to string beads while the others are still working.

After the mosaic projects are all complete, cake and juice boxes can be served. Projects are taken home when the party is over along with a container of powdered grout.

Grout is applied at home once the project has dried for at least 48 hours.

DETAILS

  • $150.00 for up to 10 children
  • $15.00 for each additional child (includes mosaic project made and taken home the same day)
  • Parties are only 1 hour for children 5 years old and under, and parents need to stay.

FOR ALL AFTER HOURS FUNCTIONS, ADD

  • $50.00 Studio fee for first 1.5 hours
  • $25.00 Studio fee for each additional hour

CAKE & DRINKS

You are welcome to order our SMASHING TIMES® birthday cake (at least 5 days prior to party) or bring your own. Ours is a fabulous and delicious cake decorated like a mosaic and made just for us by a local bakery. Cakes are available any flavor with white or chocolate icing and personalized with the birthday child's name. Candles are provided for cakes ordered through SMASHING TIMES®(prices vary)

  • 10" x 10" serves 15-20
  • 12" x 12" serves 24-30
  • Other sizes available by request

Paper goods (plates, napkins and forks) are not provided. Please bring your own. Drinks must be in a closed "juicebox" with a straw. Ice cream is not permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Credit Card imprint taken at time of reservation.
  • No charge for cancellations 2 weeks prior to function.
  • $75.00 charge for cancellations between 2 weeks and 2 days prior to function.
  • $150.00 charge for cancellations between 48 hours and scheduled function.

*“Extras” from the green bins and divided boxes are NOT included at adult or children’s parties.
**If customers choose to do more expensive projects than the per person fee, then they pay the full price of the project they choose.
